In Singapore's prestigious Goldhill View neighborhood, a house has been masterfully reinvented into a blend of chic sophistication and functionality that rises to the challenges presented by its environment with flair and forward-thinking design. The renovation tactfully tackled the issue of the western sun exposure by smartly shifting the parking to a more secluded area behind the house. The robust concrete side walls form a striking contrast to the delicate facades, which are sheathed in a lattice of interwoven aluminum rods that not only shield the interiors from the sun but also frame the stunning external views.
Internally, the house is distinguished by the use of Florim's porcelain tiles, which play a significant role in shaping the architectural story of each space. The generous expanses of the living room, dining area, kitchens, and entryway are laid with the Étoile collection's large-format 160x320cm color Gris slabs in a matte finish, creating a sense of grandeur and seamless elegance. The bathrooms showcase the Stontech/4.0 collection's surfaces in colors 04 and 05, maintaining the matte finish and impressive dimensions.
