Policroma by CEDIT awarded the Red Dot Award

The “Policroma” collection by CEDIT – Ceramiche d’Italia has won the Red Dot Award 2020, a prestigious and historic global recognition awarded annually to the most original and interesting proposals for design and innovation.
A jury of internationally renowned experts selected the collection from over 6,500 products from 60 countries. Praised for its high design content, “Policroma” designed by Cristina Celestino reinvents the ceramic product by offering an innovative aesthetic formula that combines the stylistic canons of classicism with a more modern expressive code. The large CEDIT slabs feature patterns inspired by marble and marmorino, with a scenographic result of strong decorative impact.
The Red Dot Award – previously awarded to CEDIT collections “Storie” in 2017 and “Rilievi” in 2019 – is added to the prestigious awards already won by Policroma: the Wallpaper* Design Awards (2020), the EDIDA recognition by Elle Decor Japan (2019), and the Archiproducts Design Award (2019).
