The Green Good Design Award honors the sustainable design of "Sensi"
May 4, 2021
The “Sensi” collection designed by Matteo Thun & Partners for Florim has been awarded the Green Good Design Award 2021, the "green" edition of the historic international Good Design Award, which annually celebrates the most important examples of sustainable design. The “Sensi” surfaces have been recognized for their ability to combine design and beauty typical of Florim with an approach to sustainability, environmental protection, and energy saving. These large ceramic slabs are made with over 90% natural raw materials, contain up to 42% recycled materials, and are produced through a 100% sustainable production process.
“A prestigious recognition that testifies to our commitment to the well-being of people and the planet. Objectives that we have pursued for a long time and that are part of a path recently consolidated with the achievement of B Corp certification and the acquisition of Benefit Corporation status” (President of Florim SB, Claudio Lucchese).
The series was awarded as an example of Green Design among many submissions from 28 nations and can now proudly display the prestigious seal that certifies design excellence worldwide.
