October 14, 2024
Florim is among the outstanding companies awarded at the "Best Managed Companies" with the title of "Gold Winner" as a five-time consecutive winner. The award, now in its seventh edition, is promoted by Deloitte Private in collaboration with ELITE-Euronext Group, Piccola Industria Confindustria, and with the methodological and strategic support of ALTIS Graduate School of Sustainable Management at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
The award was based on an evaluation of six success factors: "Strategy," "Capabilities and Innovation," "Commitment and Corporate Culture," "Governance and Performance Measurement," "Corporate Social Responsibility," and "Internationalization and Supply Chain."
“This seventh edition once again highlights the presence of excellent entrepreneurial realities in our country. Through the analysis of the parameters that characterize the Award and that are crucial for business management, we have awarded 67 companies that represent the excellence of our production system. Along with a solid base of award-winning companies that have already been part of this multi-year growth journey, demonstrating how the award recognizes virtuous business management over time, new high-profile entities have also been added. More than one-fifth of the awardees are companies that joined the program this year, thanks to their solid and ambitious management capacity,” commented Ernesto Lanzillo, Deloitte Partner and Leader of Deloitte Private for the Central Mediterranean area (Italy, Greece, and Malta).
“The evaluation parameters designed and adopted by Deloitte experts and the jury, which led to the awarding of 67 Italian companies for their managerial skills, are elements we consider essential for companies operating in a complex scenario like the current one. In a historical phase where the rise of new technologies is shaping new horizons and business opportunities, organizations must be able to have leadership prepared for and attentive to these new trends, in addition to the ability to adapt and shape their structure according to new priorities,” concluded Andrea Restelli, Deloitte Partner and head of the Best Managed Companies program in Italy.
Out of 67 companies that won the BMC Award, Emilia Romagna ranks second in terms of the number of awarded companies with 22% of the total (second only to Lombardy with 25%).
The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday, October 9, at Palazzo Mezzanotte, headquarters of Borsa Italiana in Milan, in the presence of top representatives from the involved companies.
