Compatta awarded at the Frame Awards 2023

The Compatta collection designed by Federico Peri for CEDIT wins – in the "finishes" category – the Best of The Year at the Frame Awards, the prize created by the namesake magazine to promote the most interesting projects and products in the international architecture and design scene.

As usual, the award involved a diverse jury composed of key figures from the world of interior design, architecture, cultural institutions, and luxury brands who cast their public vote on the Frame website over the course of a year. Each juror provided their judgment by evaluating the following aspects one by one: innovation, functionality, creativity, and sustainability. Compatta received the highest score among all the surfaces nominated.

Among the various motivations expressed in support of Compatta, it reads – “the ability to create a wonderful sense of natural beauty while providing a design that reminds us of vast open spaces, making us feel at peace” was recognized. With this collection, ceramic material connects with nature and becomes almost a conduit for coming into contact with the earth as a primordial and primitive material.
