Sustainability is made of choices. Some big, others smaller, but all of them matter: at Florim we believe that details make the difference—even the ones that seem less obvious.

That’s why we’ve redesigned the packaging of our sample materials. We’ve eliminated plastic: no more bubble wrap, no more polypropylene, no more expanded polyurethane. Only recycled and recyclable materials, designed to protect both the product and the planet.

This way, every year we eliminate over 400 kg of bubble wrap and 1,200 kg of expanded polyurethane, preventing the emission of 5.2 tCO₂eq.

Every action counts and leaves a mark. Being sustainable is a choice—let’s make it together.

For years, we’ve been working to reduce waste by adopting automatic packaging machines that optimize cardboard usage.

We know that for some products plastic is still necessary, but we choose materials that contain up to 70% recycled content and collaborate with a local supplier to recover and regenerate waste.

Our wooden packaging meets the most rigorous standards (IPPC/FAO and FITOK), and many are FSC and PEFC certified. To encourage reuse, we have introduced a refund system for customers who return pallets in good condition.

And to make it even easier to do the right thing, since 2022 we have introduced a Digital Environmental Label, with all the information about disposal and recycling. Because making the right choice should be simple—for everyone.
